Emperors Dragon
The Emperors dragon has long been the iconic symbol of the Chinese Emperor from the Ming Dynasty, appearing as a five-clawed motif on robes, flags, and imperial standards.
The First Dragon was made for Mike Loskov in 2025. He was very keen to have it based our Emperors Dragon depicted on the Chinese Flag from the Ming Dynasty. Mike made sure to point out the key details that make it the Emperors Dragon, and for Peter Lynn Kites to try to keep it as close to the original Dragon as possible. We think Simon has managed to achieve this very well. Turning the Ming Dynasty flag into a 3d kite.
In Chinese tradition, the imperial dragon is a divine composite of nine animals, typically featuring the horns of a stag, the head of a camel, the eyes of a demon, the neck of a snake, and the claws of a hawk. It represented power, wisdom, and cosmic energy
And now you can have one as your own show piece in the sky. 25m in length and a real show stopper.
